Barberitos Southwestern Grill and Cantina officially opened its doors, Aug. 28, 2025, with a ribbon-cutting hosted by the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce.
As part of the celebration, Barberitos presented swag bags to the first 50 customers. Each bag featured a โFree Queso for One Yearโ card, a complimentary car wash card, a taco keychain, sunglasses, and other exclusive items.
โWe are so thankful for everyone who was able to come out today,โ said Erica Bruski, District Manager for Barberitos. โWe look forward to serving yโall.โ
As part of its commitment to giving back, Barberitos also announced that a portion of the dayโs sales will benefit Butterfly Bridge Childrenโs Advocacy Center. While the Prattville Police and Fire Departments were originally selected to receive the proceeds, both departments graciously requested that the donation be redirected to support Butterfly Bridgeโs mission.
Butterfly Bridge provides a safe, supportive environment for children who have experienced abuse and neglect. Its multidisciplinary team works to reduce trauma while guiding children and families through the justice and recovery process.
โWe serve over 350 new children every year between Chilton, Autauga, and Elmore County,โ said Emily Hutcheson, Assistant Director of Butterfly Bridge. โWe could not do this work without businesses like Barberitos stepping up to help us out.โ
Barberitos is located at 1280 McQueen Smith Road South in Prattville and is open daily from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. Customers are encouraged to stop by today to enjoy fresh Southwestern flavors while supporting a cause that makes a difference in the community.
